What’s Included in the Plans

Unlike the previous products, TII’s new product features include more optional bundles. These bundles enhance travelers’ flexibility, medical evacuation, and repatriation benefits. Additionally, the optional bundles allow travelers access to more customized options in every plan, enabling them to choose what works best for their trips.

According to TII’s announcement, all plans include the following key benefits:

• Trip Interruption and Trip Cancelation — allows travelers to get refunds for trip interruptions or cancellations.
• Sickness and Accident Medical Expenses — caters for sickness and accident-related medical expenses while on the covered trip.
• Medical Evacuation and Repatriation of Remains— covers emergency transportation costs for medical treatment when the required treatment is not available locally. It can also cater for remains repatriation in case of a fatal accident.
• Baggage and Personal Effects— ensures the travelers are compensated for physical damage, loss, or theft of their luggage and personal belongings.
• Delays or Missed Connections— protects travelers from significant delays during the trip and ensures they are reimbursed when they miss a connection flight.

In addition to the key benefits international travelers enjoy during their covered trip, the new product plans allow them to enhance their trip coverage with optional bundles, including cruise, flight, pet, hotel, amusement, and theme park bundles, which may also include coverage for travel inconveniences and change fees.

The Cruise Bundle covers additional trip interruptions for travelers going on shore excursions and other unforeseen travel inconveniences. For those looking to travel with their pets, adding a Pet Bundle to travel insurance plans is a great option. It covers pet-related travel expenses such as pet medical and kennel expenses.

Flight Bundle covers unfortunate incidents such as accidental death and dismemberment during flight. It also covers change fees as well as other life-threatening occurrences during the flight.

Plan-specific Offers

Essential Plan: This plan offers entry-level protection for covered travelers, with a maximum coverage of $200,000 for emergency medical evacuation or repatriation of remains in case of a fatal incident during the trip.

Deluxe Plan: It’s the best option for those looking for mid-tier coverage. It offers the standard optional benefits and allows travelers to interrupt or cancel their trip for any reason. Covered travelers under this plan are also entitled to an exclusive trip delay upgrade.

Platinum Plan: This is TII’s top-tier plan, offering premier coverage for travelers. It includes the Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR)/ Interrupt for Any Reason (IFAR) Bundle and covers Medical Evacuation and Repatriation of Remains for up to $1 million. Those covered under this plan also enjoy exclusive options such as medical upgrades, luggage, and an extreme sports bundle.
